With over 150 years’ experience, our client are market leaders in the food and agricultural industry. An opportunity has arisen for a Production Operator to join their team on a full-time temporary-ongoing basis.
What will my role look like?
The successful Production Operator for our client will be responsible for operating high-tech machinery to ensure the correct operation of the chocolate solid lines. The successful candidate will report directly to the Shift Team Leader.
This is the ideal role for a Production Operator looking to develop their career with a multi award-winning company.
Hourly rate: £12.49
Shift pattern: Monday - Friday, 3 shift rotation (22.00 – 06.00, 14.00 – 22.00, 06.00 – 14.00).
Your duties will include:
• Both chocolate solid lines run to maximum efficiency whilst conforming to manufacturing standards.
• Finished product pallets to be weighed and tagged correctly.
• Finished product pallets to be shrink wrapped and moved to warehouse.
• FSQR quality checks are completed correctly.
• All paperwork is filled in correctly and accurately.
• Carry out and record all process checks.
• Ensure all cleaning duties are carried and operate a clean as you go policy.
• Participate in EHS and Food Safety activities on site (Audits, BBS).
• Report all EHS, Food Safety and maintenance issues to the appropriate person as per procedure.
• Comply with EHS, Hygiene, Food Safety and Allergen rules.
To be considered for the role of Production Operator, you must have:
• Relevant experience in a continuous manufacturing food or pharmaceutical plant.
• IT literate – use of SCADA system desirable.
• Proactive attitude, and willingness to be part of the team.
• A self-development mindset.
• FLT licence desirable.
