Our client is a new and rapidly growing confectionary business, they have recently secured a large new premises due to considerable expansion due to the growth of the business. Innovative and dynamic, they are constantly pursuing new ways to improve the services and products they offer. An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Packer to join their team on a temporary to perm basis. 8am till 5pm Monday to Friday with excellent starting salary of £10 per hour.
This is an exciting time to join a new rapidly growing business and is an ideal role for those who do well as permanent opportunities will be available for the right people.
As a Packer you will be expected to break down large quantities of confectionary down into smaller quantities and pack into correct packaging ready for dispatch. You will work with light weight items so those who cannot manage heavier loads would be suitable for this role.
Your duties will include:
- Packing finished goods
- Working with sweets and confectionary
- Working to your own initiative
- Labelling boxes
- Working under strict food hygiene regulations
- General housekeeping duties
To be considered for the role of Packer you must have:
- Used to working in a repetitive role
- Flexibility around changing work loads
- Proven reliability in a working environment
- The willingness to learn new processes
- Comfortable working within a fast paced environment
- Own transport due to location
