Our client is a national pet food manufacturer in Ferryhill. As experts in producing and supplying raw pet food with over 50 years of experience, they are urgently seeking Pickers & Packers to join their team on a temp to perm basis following substantial business growth.
This is the ideal role for a Picker / Packer looking to secure employment with a company that is leading the way in pet food manufacturing and is expanding further with the opening of a second Distribution Centre scheduled for February 2021.
As a Picker / Packer, you are responsible for the picking and packing of raw pet food in a safe and legal manner.
Other duties will include:
- Working on fast production lines
- Packing and labelling boxes
- Stacking pallets
- Recording packed items for traceability
- Achieving hourly packing targets
- Working under strict hygiene regulations
Two shift times are available - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 15:00 or 15:00 - 23:00, Saturday shifts are optional.
Additionally, you must possess high levels of organisational skills. Due to the location of the Client’s North Zone and shift times, you must drive and have access to your own transport.
