3.5 Tonne Drivers

Our client is a national raw pet food manufacturer. As experts in producing and supplying raw pet food with over 50 years of experience, they are urgently seeking Drivers to join their team on a temp to perm basis at their Weston-Super-Mare site. This is the ideal role for a 3.5 Tonne Driver looking to secure employment with a company that is leading the way in pet food manufacturing.
As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, you are responsible for driving long distances using route planning systems and providing excellent customer service.
Other duties will include:
- Ensure timely delivery/drops of frozen pet food to both customers and suppliers
- Manage the safe loading and unloading of frozen pet food
- Carry out daily cleaning and maintenance on all vehicles
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed and compliant with Company guidelines
- Following routes/drops using the Maxoptra software
- Working under strict hygiene regulations
- Ensure legal compliance with road safety regulations
To be considered for the role of 3.5 Tonne Driver, you must have/be:
- Experience in a similar role
- A clean UK Driving Licence
- A compatible smartphone for Maxoptra software
- Competent using technology
- Flexible due to varying start and finish times
Additionally, you must possess access to your own transport to commute to and from site. Working days are Monday to Friday with early starts and late finishes to be expected. No weekends. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
