What will my role look like?
As a Meat Process Operative, you will be responsible for deboning, trimming and processing meat into required specifications for packing with the use of knives and machinery.
Hourly rate: £12.50
Weekly shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 07.00 – 16.00
As a Meat Process Operative, you will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring workspaces are clean and strict hygiene standards are met.
- Deboning, trimming and processing meat with the use of knives and machinery.
- Maintaining a sterilised knife at all times.
- Packing of pork and beef products in preparation for distribution to customers.
- Achieving daily output targets
- Performing quality inspections on pork and beef products.
To be considered for the role of Meat Process Operative, you must have:
- A good understanding and ability to communicate in English language.
- Basic knife skills (essential).
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- To be enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated.
- Adopts a ‘can do’ attitude to challenging situations.
- Excellent punctuality
- Experience of working in an FMCG food manufacturing environment
- Reliable and able to commit to the relevant shift pattern
