An opportunity has arisen for a Production Administrator to join their team on a Temporary – Perm basis, 30 hours a week, with the view of going permanent for a candidate who demonstrates the correct skills and values to work.

As a Production Administrator you will be responsible for assisting the production department in the following ways:
Your duties will include:
- To assist the department manager with the administration of the department.
- To deal with day-to-day data inputting to allow the interrogation of production losses and performance issues.
- Ensure training records are maintained throughout the department
- To ensure all production recording is done in a timely and accurate manner.
- To be part of a professional, empowered team committed to providing the customer with the highest quality product in the most cost-effective manner.
- Support the management team throughout the department with note taking and general clerical duties.
- Collect and input production data for the department. Report on machine and SKU trends.
- Collect and input wastage figures for the department. Reporting and investigation any anomalies.
- Back up data relating to seaming and pasteurisation records.
- Assist with the upkeep of data records for labelling and quality documentation.
- Play an active part in influencing positive team spirit.
- Participate in meetings when necessary. Confer with the shift managers, shift Supervisors and Team Leaders to coordinate activities when required.
- Interpret company policies and procedures to members of the team, highlighting updates when necessary.
- Coordinate cleaning activities to ensure all records are completed in a timely manner.
- Support all requirements for Audit and Customer Visits.
To be considered for the role of Production Administrator, you must have:
- A good knowledge of production processes (Mixing, Seaming, filling, packing, shrink wrapping & palletising).
- The individual should have extensive experience with excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to train individuals to a high level.
- Ability to communicate and influence using various methods to encourage participation and co-operation.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly, with a genuine desire to develop skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- High skill set for organisation
- Friendly enthusiastic, positive nature with a ‘can do’ attitude
