Our client, based in North Yorkshire, specialises in providing seamless and welded steel tubes to the Construction, Process and Energy industries as well as providing seamless tubes and solid bars for the Mechanical and Fluid Power markets. An urgent opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist/Admin Clerk to join their team on a temp-perm basis.
This is the ideal role for a Receptionist/Admin Clerk looking to develop their career with an award-winning company.
As a Receptionist/Admin Clerk, you will be responsible for providing customer care and reception duties.
Other duties will include:
- Operating telephones
- Welcoming visitors to site and checking them in accordingly
- Sales filing
- Weighbridge admin
- General computer duties
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing mail
- Managing general office supplies and stationary
- Other general administrative tasks as required
To be considered for the role of Receptionist/Admin Clerk, you must have:
- Experience working with Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
- Confidence and be a self-starter
- Experience in a similar role
- Attentiveness to accuracy and details
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to communicate both orally and in writing
Additionally, you must possess your own transport due to rural location of the Client.
Monday-Friday. 8am-5pm, 1hr lunch. Limited overtime opportunities.
