Our client is a leading food manufacturing company based in North Yorkshire. They have experienced great success in the industry, working closely with supermarkets across the UK. They are currently looking for Sauce Room Operatives to join their team on a temp-perm basis.
As a Sauce Room Operative you will be responsible for the smooth running of the production line, complete the correct paperwork and checks, and also follow all the Health and Safety requirements that are in place.
This is the ideal role for a Sauce Room Operative from a kitchen and production background, looking to further their career within a successful company.
As a Sauce Room Operative, you will work on numerous production lines, reporting to the Production Supervisor.
Your duties will include:
- Checking products on the production line for quality
- Keeping machines supplied
- Reporting machine faults
- Adjusting machine settings
- Working in a chilled environment
- Helping the production line run smoothly
- Lifting up to 25KG
- Taking written and verbal instruction
- Adhering to Health and Safety at all times
- Cleaning down work areas
- Working in a FMCG environment
To be considered for the role of Sauce Room Operative, you must have:
- An extremely high attention to detail
- Experience within a Kitchen or Butchery background
- The ability to follow strict processes
- Professional attitude to work
- Able to work with own initiative
- Physically fit
- Excellent punctuality
- Prepared to learn new job roles
- Experience in a production environment
