Aldi is one of the fastest growing supermarkets in the World and now has over 900 Stores in the UK, with a view to increasing this to 1,200 stores by 2025.
We are currently recruiting a Store Manager to be based at one of their Bristol stores.
You will take full responsibility of the store, its staff and its customers. No two days are the same so the successful candidate will need to be adaptable. You will need to have strong business acumen and manage all KPI’s to ensure the over-riding goal of maximising sales, ensuring great customer service, minimising costs and optimising productivity.

Your duties will include:
- Being inspirational and leading a motivated store team to achieve targets
- Ensuring customers can always buy the best quality, freshest products through planning and forecasting of customer needs
- Planning store rotas and leading team meetings.
- Training and developing all staff within your store including Assistant Managers, Deputy Managers, Store Assistants, Stock Assistants & Cleaners
- Full control of budget and P&L – ensuring efficient cash control, turnover and productivity and labour planning.
- HR duties including managing sickness, absence holidays, disciplinaries, grievances etc
To be considered for the role of Store Manager you must have:
- Inspirational leadership qualities that can motivate staff to meet store targets and customer service targets.
- Experience in a management role in food/beverage retail including Supermarkets, Fast Food, and Coffee Chains or similar.
- The ability to develop your store team and enable them to reach their full potential and career goals through effective delegation, empowerment and coaching.
- A proactive attitude with hands on management to ensure the highest standards and always strive for continuous improvement.
- Financial awareness and be able to analyse key reporting and KPI’s.
- A complete knowledge of company policies and procedures, and have a professional work ethic.
