Our client a local charity are looking for someone to join their Darlington office team. Are you an experienced and organised finance person with experience of bookkeeping and management accounts looking for a new opportunity with a local charity which supports children and adults suffering from mental ill-health? Hours: 35 per week Full Time
This will become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Salary: £11.28ph - £12.31ph (dependent upon experience)
Location: Based in Darlington with potential for some working from home
The Finance & Resources Manager will take responsibility for leading all day to day finance management tasks for Darlington Mind.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a good working knowledge and are skilled in the use the SAGE accounting system and experience of finance processes
- Have an Accounting Technicians Bookkeeping qualification or equivalent
- Experience of producing month end management accounts
- Experienced and proficient in using Excel
- Have an excellent understanding of Office 365, and work at a level where they are able to provide basic advice and support to others
- Be able to work flexibly and independently, with minimal supervision
- Be organised and proactive in order to effectively oversee suppliers and resources ensuring that the organisation is able to run efficiently
- Be confident and able to adapt their skills to meet the requirements of an organisation in a period of development and change. The environment is friendly and supportive, working in a close knit team where you will be encouraged to learn and develop.
- We are open to applications from individuals who have worked in the commercial sector but some knowledge of the charitable sector is preferable.
- An interest and commitment to their work is essential.
Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
