Our client has been established for over 35 years and is a leading provider of innovative, skills-based, education and training. Due to their continued success they are now looking for a Business Development Support Officer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Based from our clients Newton Aycliffe office the Business Development Support Officer role will include;
- Travelling to Middlesbrough and Gateshead offices
- Being self-motivated and confident with the ability to spot business opportunities
- Possess a confident and professional telephone manner
- The role will involve speaking to employers regarding employing apprentices
- Offer free training to upskill employer’s existing workforce
- The role is varied with calls to existing customers but also outbound calls to new company prospects
- Attending career events to promote our client’s apprenticeship provision
- Contacting prospective learners to find them suitable placements to help them start out on a career path
- Using CRM software to input learner and employer details
- Some general office administration
To be considered for the role of Business Development Support Officer you must have;
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills
- A proven track record in either apprenticeship training or in a sales environment
- A full clean driving license and access to own vehicle is essential
