This is the ideal role for a Maintenance Coordinator looking to develop their career with an award-winning company.
The main part of this role is to ensure the efficient organisation & management of the engineering team to carry out all preventative and reactive maintenance of equipment within company, franchise and 3rd party stores.
Take responsibility of warehouse parts stock, including;
-Parts procurement / ordering.
-Stock (parts) control.
-Management of engineers van stock and reporting on same.
Main Tasks Include:
-Co-ordination of engineers (currently 5 although expected to grow in the future) daily movements in order to ensure all required maintenance works are carried out as efficiently as possible and organised by priority.
-Developing working relationships with suppliers
-Ensuring all faulty parts/equipment/lamps are safely returned to Head Office, liaising with suppliers to ensure credits are obtained on faulty parts.
-Ensuring all incoming maintenance calls, are responded to within a given timescale.
-Ensuring correct maintenance fee is charged for all engineers visits
-Ordering of parts as necessary after reviewing requirements and current stock levels.
-Ensuring high service levels to all customers both internal and external
-Any other reactive tasks as required by the company.
Main Reporting Requirements:
-Preparation of Engineers movements reports for distribution to required company staff.
-Reporting all outstanding jobs by location and days outstanding.
-Ensuring that all issues are highlighted to the relevant staff members.
-Ensuring all Job sheets are signed and filed in the correct order for review
-Reporting all instances of issues where works can’t be completed on the first visit with reasons why.
-Experience of managing field staff efficiently
-Possess basic technical/electrical knowledge
-Have a focused attention to detail
-Ability to report clearly to management team & directors.
-An ability to demonstrate strong organisation skills
Additionally, you must possess high levels of accuracy with good numeracy and organisational skills.
Although not essential, your own transport for the location of the client.
