Administration and Accounts Assistant


Aldi has over 760 UK stores with exciting growth plans leading to 1,000 UK stores by 2022 and is also building a new, purpose built, state-of-the-art Distribution Centre on the Isle of Sheppey which will open in 2019.  

Forming an integral part of the finance team in Corporate Head Office you will help support the accounts function with all administrative and basic accounting functions. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Administration and Accounts Assistant looking to develop their career with an award-winning company with huge expansion and development plans in the UK.

Your duties will include: 

Support Accounting Functions which will cover:

  • Answering incoming calls into the accounts department both internal and external
  • Processing all paperwork required
  • Basic accounting tasks 
  • All filing, faxing and other necessary tasks to ensure smooth running of the department

To be considered for the role of Account Assistant you must have: 

  • Experience in a similar role within a fast paced environment.
  • Experience of working in a demanding, accurate role with regular deadlines.
  • Have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good Excel and Outlook skills.

Additionally, you must be forward thinking, compliant, have strong initiative and a professional attitude.
