This is the ideal role for a Maintenance Technician to develop their career with an award-winning company.


Duties will include:

Responsible for the routine preventative maintenance of all of our Fanuc based equipment (such as Doosan, Kitamura, Bridgeport, Hyundai-Kia, Chiron, Fadal, Hitachi and MHP CNC machines and lathes)

Responsible for reacting to and dealing with breakdowns in machinery on both the machining and assembly sides of the business

Plans and executes assigned modification, repair and/or maintenance projects with a high degree of complexity with respect to costs, quality, safety and environmental aspects

Analyses technical problems on site

Executes start of operation of production service and systems

Executes mechanical and/or electrical repairs and works orders

Maintains proper documentation

Contributes to installation projects on site

Supports maintenance of technical documentation of processes and equipment

Dismantles, repairs, assembles and installs mechanical/electrical components on site

Performs tests and verifies correct functioning

Sets up and commissions machines and devices

Supports accountable engineers and other technicians in their tasks, both in maintenance and production

Checks completeness of documents and components for the proper execution of mechanical and electrical tasks

Prepares mechanical and electrical tools and equipment for use


To be considered for the role of Maintenance Technician, you must have:

Must have a relevant qualification in a maintenance and/or engineering discipline

Must have had industry experience working within an automotive engineering/manufacturing environment

Must have at least 5 years’ experience in maintenance with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar Multi-skilled Maintenance Technician role

Knowledge of health and safety regulations

A working knowledge of, or hands-on experience with, automotive production processes

Must be computer literate with a very good knowledge in the use of MS-Office packages

Must have very good communication skills (oral and written)

Must have a full UK drivers licence (may be required to go and get spare parts)


Working Hours:


4 shifts on 4 shifts off              08:00am to 18:15pm    with a half hour unpaid lunchbreak

(8 day rotation)



Monday to Thursday                21:45pm to 08:00am    with a half hour unpaid lunchbreak
