Aldi opened its 700th UK store February 2017 and is looking to opening many more over the coming years. They are looking to appoint an Administrator / Receptionist at their Darlington Regional Distribution Centre.
The position is initially for a fixed term of 10 months although there is the possibility of this being extended beyond this time.
The role of Administrator is varied and ever changing. You will answer a video entry system, deal with all incoming calls from internal and external parties, handle all post incoming and outgoing, handle deliveries, complete data entry tasks and support all departments with administrative tasks including HR/Payroll files, staff correspondence, Employment Engagement Surveys or Fireworks Licences.

Answer incoming calls to the office and pass on to the relevant department or take clear messages
Handle incoming deliveries for the office
Answer the video entry system allowing visitors and guests on to site
General administration tasks including data entry, filing and letter writing
Support all departments on site with ad hoc administrative tasks including HR, Payroll and Finance
To be considered you will need the following:
Previous Administrative or Receptionist experience in a fast paced environment
A clear, professional telephone manner
Excellent MS Office experience particularly Word, Excel and Outlook, Powerpoint an advantage
Ability to turn hand to anything and be involved in ad hoc projects
Able to work to strict deadlines and complete work to a very high standard
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
